The Great Pyramid of Giza is one of the Seven Wonders of the World because of its massive size, precise and intricate construction, and age. It was built over 4,500 years ago and is believed to be the only surviving structure from this ancient list of wonders. The Great Pyramid is estimated to contain around 2.3 million stone blocks, which were cut and transported from various quarries and placed together with remarkable accuracy and precision.
The Great Pyramid has remained an enigma over the centuries as to how it was built. Its immense size and sheer scale have amazed architects and engineers over the years, leading to much speculation as to how the Egyptians accomplished such a feat of engineering.
