Taking of change point
- In levelling, after setting up of instrument first take back sight (B.S) reading on bench mark or TBM.
- Then take intermediate sight (I.S).
- Final possible reading from the station is fore sight (F.S).
- When staff is so far, then we need to take change point (C.P).
- Shift the instrument on another possible location.
- Take the back sight (B.S) reading on last staff.
- It is a point on which fore sight (F.S) and back sight (B.S) are taken.
