Cement blocks are made by combining cement, sand, and water in a proportion that creates a malleable mixture. This mixture is then transferred into molds of desired shapes and sizes and cured, or allowed to dry, for several days.
The molds can be made of plastic, aluminum, or steel, depending on the desired end result. After curing, the blocks are removed from the molds and then must be dried for an additional period of time before they are ready for use.
