Define roofs. Enlist the classification of roofs and explain atleast four types of them in detail

The part of the building is uppermost, whose purpose is to enclose the space and provide protection from climate such as rainfall, snowfall, heat, winter etc.

Four different types of roofs include:

1. Gable: In this ridge is formed from two slopes, it is used in the construction of houses in cold climates.
2. Flat: It is a standard frame roof that provides unique designs and benefits to the building.
3. Hip: It has four slopes that meet at the roof tip, it is more stable and gives an elaborate design.
4. Saltbox: It is short on one side and long on another side, it sheds water easily.
