Crown molding can be attached to a ceiling in several different ways, depending on the type of crown molding you are using. The most common method is to use construction adhesive and nails or screws.
You will want to make sure you pre-drill holes for the screws to properly attach the molding to the ceiling. You may also opt to use metal or plastic angle brackets and screws to add extra strength. If you are using foam crown molding, a strong adhesive is all that is required to easily attach it to the ceiling.
