To become a construction site safety manager, you will need to complete a degree in occupational health and safety or a related field. You may also need to take additional courses in hazardous materials, safety management and industrial safety. Additionally, having several years of experience working in the construction industry can be beneficial. Once your educational requirements are fulfilled, you may need to become certified in order to become a construction site safety manager. In some states, you may need to pass an exam to become certified.
