Bent plywood is created using steam bending, or by laminating multiple layers of plywood together and using clamps to give them a curved shape. To steam bend plywood, you‘ll need to soak the wood in hot water for at least an hour before clamping it into the desired curved shape.
Once the plywood is in the desired shape, allow it to dry completely before removing the clamps. For laminated plywood, cut thin strips of plywood and glue them together in the desired curved shape. Once the glue has dried, trim off any excess wood.
