The RCC column size calculation is based on the column’s loads. To calculate the column size, you’ll need to know the following:
- Factored load on the column.
- Grade of steel to be used in reinforcement of the RCC Column.
- Grade of concrete to be used for casting of the RCC Column.
- After that, you may enter the parameter values into the factored load formula. The size of a rectangular, square or circular column is calculated using this formula. The column’s minimum size should not be less than 230 mm x 230 mm.
