To calculate we required three data: –
Taking an example in which Length of the wall (l)= 3 m, Height of the wall (h) = 3 m, Thickness of the wall (b)= 0.2 m. Let’s Assume that the wall has no openings.
Brick size = 200 mm * 100 mm * 100 mm (with mortar) so its volume comes to 0.002m3
Volume of brick wall = l*h*b = 3 x 3 x 0.2= 1.8 m³
Number of bricks = Volume of brick wall /volume of one brick = 1.8/0.002 =900 Bricks is required.
