To calculate the cubic feet of a timber, you need to measure its length, width, and thickness. Once these three measurements have been taken, multiply them together to get the volume in cubic feet.

For example, if the timber has a length of 8 feet, a width of 5 feet, and a thickness of 3 inches, its volume would be 8 x 5 x 0.25 = 10 cubic feet.
