Calculating footing shuttering quantity requires determining the length, width, and depth of the foundation as well as the type of shuttering material being used. Once these measurements have been obtained, the total quantity of shuttering material required can be calculated using the following formula:
Quantity of Shuttering Material = (Length x Width x Depth) / (Thickness of Shuttering Material)
For example, a 2m by 2m foundation with a depth of 1m and a shuttering thickness of 4cm would require a total of 62.50 m2 of shuttering material to complete the project.
