Calculating materials required for building from an AutoCAD drawing requires first measuring out each component using the AutoCAD tools. The measurements should include the length, width and height of all components. Once measurements have been taken, use an online calculator to calculate the volume required for each component and then add them up for the total volume required for the overall building.
Once you know the total volume required, you can then figure out the amount of material needed for each component, such as bricks, concrete, and steel, to construct the building.
