The materials required for building will vary depending on the type of structure and its size. Generally, the materials needed include concrete, lumber, rebar, insulation, drywall, roofing supplies, paint and hardware. To calculate the exact amount of materials needed, you’ll need to take accurate measurements of the space and draw up blueprints.
You will then need to create a list of materials for each element of the build. This should include the type, size and quantity of each material. Once you have an estimate of the materials needed, you can adjust it to account for any unforeseen changes or additional supplies needed.
