      There is no empirical formula to calculate the binding wire required in construction work or find the weight of the binding wire. So we use thumb rules to calculate these. 9 to 1.3 kg of Binding Wire are required for 100 kg of steel works. 9 to 13 kg of binding wire are required for 1 Ton (1000 kg)Read more

      There is no empirical formula to calculate the binding wire required in construction work or find the weight of the binding wire. So we use thumb rules to calculate these.

      • 9 to 1.3 kg of Binding Wire are required for 100 kg of steel works.
      • 9 to 13 kg of binding wire are required for 1 Ton (1000 kg) of steel works.
      • For 1 ton steel work (1000 kg) and if the diameter of steel is 28 mm to 32 mm so then we just need 7 kg of binding wire to bind the steel with each other.

      So it is important to find the weight of the binding wire for RCC (steel) works which is the exact weight for the above steel weight.

      Also the quantity of the binding wire depends on the 2 factors:

      1. Type of structure
      2. Type of bar
