To create a block in AutoCAD, you must first create a drawing of the object you want to turn into a block. Once you have created the object, you can use the Block command to create a block from the object. First, select the object you want to turn into a block, then type BLOCK and enter.
You will see a dialog box asking for a name and other information about the block. Enter a name for the block and other information such as the base point, scale, and rotation as necessary. When you are done defining the block, click OK. The block is now created and can be inserted into your drawings.
