Cutting plywood without a saw can be done with either a razor knife or a handsaw. To cut plywood with a razor knife, use a straight edge to mark the cut line on the plywood, then use the razor knife to score along the line.
Apply pressure to the plywood and snap it along the scored line to separate the two pieces. When using a handsaw, make sure to use a fine–toothed saw and make sure it is properly sharpened. Mark the cut line, then carefully saw along the line, being careful not to veer off the line or apply too much pressure, which can cause the saw blade to break.
