1. Start by clearing the area in which you would like to lay your concrete floor. Remove any dirt, debris or anything else that may interfere with the installation.
2. Once the area is clear, lay a layer of crushed stone over the area. This will provide a stable base for the concrete. Make sure to tamp down any uneven spots.
3. Mix together the concrete and water to create a thick paste. As you mix it, use a hoe to make sure all the ingredients are evenly combined.
4. Pour the concrete mixture into the area and spread it evenly using a trowel. Make sure to get into all of the corners and edges.
5. Allow the concrete to dry for at least 24 hours. During this time, mist the area with water occasionally to keep it from drying too quickly.
6. After the concrete has dried, you can begin to smooth it out and make any repairs necessary. Finish it off by adding texture or color if desired.
