To perform a response spectrum analysis in STAAD Pro, first open the model in STAAD Pro. Then, go to the Results tab and select Response Spectrum from the drop-down menu. In the response spectrum settings window, select the type of analysis you need to do, such as Time History, Directional, etc.
Select the parameters such as the period, damping ratio, and number of modes to obtain the desired spectral shape that fits your particular application. Select the entries to be output, including the mode shapes and acceleration response spectra for each degree of freedom. Click OK to run the analysis. The results will be displayed in the results tab.
