3. Unscrew the wiring connections and then discard the existing light fixture.
4. Place the ladder under the ceiling where you want the new light fixture to be installed.
5. Take the new fixture and attach it to the ceiling. Make sure all of the screws are tight.
6. Connect the wires from the ceiling to the wires on the new light fixture, using the wire strippers and pliers to make sure all the connection are secure.
7. Wrap the connections with electrical tape to keep them from coming apart.
8. Put the light bulb into the new fixture and turn on the power at the main switch.
9. Test the new light fixture to make sure it is working properly.
10. If everything is working, replace the light cover and enjoy your new ceiling light.
