1. Start from one corner of the room and measure out the width of the drywall and mark it on the wall.
2. Cut the drywall accordingly and attach it to the ceiling joists or furring strips with DRYWALL screws.
3. Secure the drywall by driving the screws every 8 to 12 inches around the perimeter.
4. Finish off the corners and seams with joint compound and fiberglass tape.
5. Sand down any excess joint compound and apply a coat of drywall primer before painting.
