1. Gather your light fixtures and accessories, including all hardware needed for installation, such as bolts, nuts, screws and washers.
2. Measure and mark the spots on the ceiling where you will be mounting the lights. Make sure the marks are level and in a line.
3. Drill pilot holes into the ceiling at the points you marked.
4. Install the mounting hardware for the lights. This may involve using lag screws if you are mounting the lights directly to the ceiling joists, or using ceiling anchors if you are mounting the lights on drywall.
5. Secure the light fixtures to the mounting hardware, making sure the light is facing the correct direction.
6. Connect the power cable to the light fixture, then plug it into a power outlet.
7. Test the lights and adjust the positions of the fixtures as needed.
