In 3ds Max, there are actually two different ways to increase undo capacity. The first option is to use the “Increase Undo Levels” script, which can be found in the MAXScript menu. This script will add new undo slots for every action that exceeds the current limit, creating an unlimited undo capability.
The second option is to increase the maximum number of undo levels in the 3ds Max Preferences. This option can be found under the “Viewports” tab in the preferences window.
