To import a 3ds Max file into Lumion, you need to use the FBX file format. Once the model is exported from 3ds Max as an FBX file, it can be imported into Lumion. When importing an FBX file, you can choose to import materials and textures as well.
To do this, in the Import Model window, check the box for “Import Materials” before clicking the “Import” button. This will ensure that all textures and materials that were part of the 3ds Max scene are properly imported into Lumion.
