2. Use a caulking gun to fill the crack with a high quality polyurethane caulk or a commercial grade concrete joint sealant. Make sure to fill the crack completely.
3. Utilize a pointing trowel to force the caulk or sealant into any deeper areas of the crack. Smooth out the caulk or sealant with a putty knife or trowel.
4. Fill the crack with a small amount of dry sand and cement mix. You can purchase a dry sand and cement mix at your local hardware or home improvement store.
5. Use a pointing trowel to push the dry mix into the crack and then getting rid of any excess material. Smooth the surface with a damp cloth or masonry brush.
6. Allow the cement to dry and then apply a sealant over the area for additional protection.
