1. Start by measuring and marking the locations of your emitters. Make sure to give yourself enough space so that the emitters do not touch each other.
2. Cut the tubing to the appropriate length and attach the emitter to it, using a barbed fitting and clamps or a compression fitting.
3. Connect the emitter tubing to the main water supply line.
4. Attach the stake or holder that supports the emitter in place.
5. If the emitter is adjustable, set it to the appropriate flow rate.
6. Connect the drainage pipe to the end of the emitter and stake it securely in place.
7. Test your installation to make sure it is working properly.
