How to install rain bird drip irrigation system?

1. Assemble and layout all your components: Find a flat surface for laying out all the drip irrigation components, including the filter, pressure regulator, and valve in a line.

2. Dig trenches for the pipes: Using a shovel or post-hole digger, dig narrow trenches along the area that you want to irrigate to the depth of the pipe you will be using.

3. Connect the filter and pressure regulator to the faucet: Connect the filter to the faucet with a garden hose and then connect the pressure regulator to the filter.

4. Install your piping: Begin at the faucet and run the pipe along the trenches to the drip emitter locations, making sure to avoid sharp turns and sudden drops in the pipe.

5. Install your drippers: Attach the drippers to the end of the main line, teeing off with shorter pieces to each emitter location. Connect the emitters with an elbow or connector.

6. Connect the valve: After the emitters have been installed, attach the valve to the main line and turn on the water supply at the faucet.

7. Adjust the pressure regulator: Turn the adjusting screw on the pressure regulator until the desired flow rate is achieved.

8. Test and adjust the system: Activate each zone one at a time to make sure everything is working properly. Adjust the emitters, drippers, and valves as needed.
