How to make cement from clinker?

To make cement from clinker, the clinker must first be cooled and ground into a fine powder with a particle size of less than 75 microns. Next, gypsum is added to regulate the setting time of the cement. The mixture is then fed into a rotary kiln where it is heated to temperatures of up to 1450°C.

This causes the RAW materials to form chemical reactions and create a new substance known as ‘Clinker’. Once cooled, the clinker is ready for grinding with gypsum and other additives such as limestone, slag, and pozzolanic material to create the final cement product. Lastly, the cement is stored in bags or bulk containers until ready for use.
