3. Prime the floor with an epoxy-based primer. This will help the paint to stick to the surface for a longer lasting finish. Allow the primer to dry for 12 hours.
4. Finally, apply two coats of floor paint. Use a roller or a brush to apply each coat, and allow the first coat to dry before applying the second. Allow the paint to cure for at least 48 hours before walking.
