Applying laminate onto plywood requires a few basic steps. First, clean the plywood to ensure there is no dust or debris. Next, spread a thin layer of contact adhesive onto the surface of the plywood.
Once the adhesive has dried, place the laminate sheet onto the plywood and press it firmly throughout.
For added security, use a brad nailer to secure the laminate to the plywood. Finally, trim off any excess material with a router or jigsaw and apply edge banding as desired.
