Removing laminate from plywood is usually a relatively easy process. The first step is to score the laminate with a sharp utility knife. This will help weaken the adhesive bond between the laminate and the plywood. After scoring, use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat up the area where the laminate is stuck on the plywood.

This will help loosen the adhesive and make it easier to pull the laminate away. Once you have heated the area, use a putty knife or another flat tool to carefully pry up the edges of the laminate. Once you have the edges free, gently pull off the laminate in one piece.

If you come across any adhesive residue, you can use a cloth soaked. To remove any adhesive residue, you can use a solvent such as mineral spirits or paint thinner. Apply the solvent to a rag and wipe off the remaining adhesive residue.

Once all of the laminate and adhesive has been removed, you can sand the surface of the plywood to ensure it is smooth and even. Make sure to dispose of any rags used in this process properly.
