To remove sunmica from plywood, you will need to use a utility knife and a heat gun. Start by using the knife to carefully cut away the sunmica along the edges of the plywood. Then, use the heat gun to loosen the sunmica’s adhesive and slowly peel it away from the surface of the plywood.
Once all of the sunmica has been removed, you can use sandpaper or an orbital sander to smooth out any bumps or rough patches.
