4. Continue to tape around the edges of the ceiling, making sure to press the tape firmly against the ceiling.
5. Follow the tape with a straight edge, like a ruler or an L-shaped piece of cardboard, to ensure that the tape adheres evenly and securely.
6. When you have finished taping around the edge of the ceiling, begin to tape along any additional lines or patterns on the surface, such as a grid or stippling pattern.
