To unlock a flip lock door from the outside, you will need either a key or a tool that can be used to manipulate the lock. For example, a flathead screwdriver may be able to work the latch and open the lock.
If the lock is too difficult to open this way, you can also pick the lock with a tension wrench and a pick. Lastly, you can also call a locksmith to help you open the door.
