It depends on the project and your particular requirements. Generally, OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) is more common as it is more cost-effective, has a shorter curing time, and offers good strength and durability. PPC (Portland Pozzolana Cement), on the other hand, has better resistance to sulfate attacks and is more suitable for marine environments.
