Portland Slag Cement (PSC) is a blended cement produced by inter-grinding of Portland cement clinker and highly refined granulated blast furnace slag.
It is commonly used in concrete as a partial replacement for Portland cement, due to its beneficial properties such as improved workability, more cohesive mixes and higher strength. PSC is particularly effective in hot climates, as it has lower heat of hydration compared to Portland cement.
