Veneer Plywood is a type of plywood made from thin sheets of wood, called veneers, that are glued together in layers forming a strong plywood sheet. The veneers are usually a hardwood such as Oak or Birch, while the core and backing layers can be made from softer woods such as pine and fir.
Veneer Plywood is more uniform in structure than conventional plywood, making it much more suited for cabinetry and furniture work. It is also more resistant to warping, shrinkage, and splitting, making it a more stable material to work with.
