Earthquake and volcanic eruption are called endogenic factors because they are caused by internal forces within the Earth’s crust. These internal forces, such as plate tectonics and magma movement, are the result of heat and pressure built up within the Earth over millions of years.
The energy released by these processes is what causes earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
