– Have a valid GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score or a valid Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) exam score.
– Pass a written test conducted by the Indian Railways. This includes an aptitude and general knowledge test, along with a technical test on civil engineering topics.
– Have a minimum of two years of experience in related field, acquired either from government or private sector.
