It is generally not recommended to cut plywood with an angle grinder. Plywood is a relatively thin material that can be easily damaged by the heat and vibration produced by an angle grinder. Additionally, there is a great risk of kickback or splintering when using an angle grinder to cut plywood.
Instead, it is suggested to use a circular saw or jigsaw for cutting plywood. Both tools are specifically designed for cutting wood and will yield far better results. For best results, be sure to properly clamp your plywood in place and use a straight edge guide as you cut.
