3. Cut the insulation to the correct length for the ceiling size and width, using an electric saw, a hacksaw or strong scissors.
4. Secure the insulation to the joists with plastic cable ties, making sure there are no gaps between the insulation and the joists or ceiling.
5. Install any necessary vapor barriers over the insulation and joists, using staples or wall plugs. Make sure the vapor barrier is securely attached and has no gaps or holes.
6. Cover the insulation with drywall sheets, using screws and wall plugs to secure them.
7. Tape and fill any cracks in the drywall, then sand and paint to your desired finish.
