5. Use wood screws to add additional strength to the joint. Insert the screws at least 1/2” away from the edge of the plywood, space them evenly apart, and screw them in until they’re just flush with the wood surface.
6. For extra stability and strength, use a heavy-duty wood adhesive or construction adhesive along the edges where the two pieces of plywood meet, and fill any gaps with epoxy.
