1. Cut two pieces of plywood to the desired size for the door. If you intend to use hinges, make sure to leave extra space on one side of the wood to accommodate them.
2. Sand the plywood pieces down with a medium-grit sandpaper. Smooth the edges of the wood so the door will fit into the frame properly.
3. Use wood screws to join the two pieces of plywood together. Align the two pieces of wood and secure them with at least two screws along the length of the door.
4. Paint or stain the door as desired. After it has dried completely, apply a clear sealant for added protection.
5. Fit the door into the door frame, and use hinges to attach it. Adjust the hinges if necessary to create a smooth opening and closing motion.
