1. Begin by cleaning the plywood furniture with a clean cloth, using a mild detergent and warm water. Ensure that the entire piece is completely dry before continuing.
2. Sand the furniture with fine-grit sandpaper to remove any roughness or unevenness. Apply moderate pressure and work in the direction of the grain.
3. Apply a quality wood conditioner to the furniture to help bring out the wood’s natural color and provide additional protection.
4. Apply a good quality furniture polish to the wood. Use a soft cloth to evenly spread the polish in the direction of the grain, and allow it to penetrate the pores of the wood.
5. Buff the furniture with a soft cloth to give it a nice shine. Once the furniture is polished to your liking, cut back on the number of applications and only use the polish as needed to keep the wood looking its best.
