1. Scrub the concrete patio with an abrasive cleaner, such as a trisodium phosphate (TSP) solution or a degreaser.
2. Mix 1 part muriatic acid with 5 parts water in a bucket and use a scrub brush to scrub it onto the stained area and leave it on for 5 minutes.
3. Rinse the area with cold water and repeat the process if needed.
4. Allow the patio to air dry completely and then apply a sealant to protect it from future staining.
