In order to obtain an architecture license after completing a diploma in civil engineering, you will need to take and pass the Architect Registration Examination (ARE). This is a multi-part exam that tests your knowledge of the various aspects of architectural practice. Additionally, you may also have to meet certain state-specific requirements in order to eventually become a licensed architect.
