1. Remove any debris and dust from the plywood with a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush.
2. Apply an even coat of high-quality primer to the surface of the plywood. Be sure to include the edges and corners. Allow the primer to dry completely before proceeding.
3. Sand the primed surface with medium-grit sandpaper to create a smooth surface. Move in circular motions, starting at the top of the board and ending at the bottom.
4. Wipe away any dust created by sanding with a damp cloth.
5. Use a large paintbrush to apply two coats of paint to the plywood. Keep the brush strokes consistent and allow each coat to dry completely.
