Air pollution is the release of harmful substances such as particulate matter, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide and other toxic pollutants into the atmosphere. These pollutants are released from burning fossil fuels, agricultural production and industrial processes, and can have serious impacts on human health, ecosystems and climate.

To control air pollution, it is important to reduce sources of emissions, improve air quality standards, and develop sustainable energy solutions. This can be achieved by:

      – Implementing strict regulations on industry and transportation to reduce emissions.
      – Doing regular maintenance of vehicles and engines to improve their efficiency and reduce air pollution.
      – Promoting the use of green technologies such as solar, wind and geothermal power.
      – Encouraging people to switch to clean energy sources such as electric cars and bicycles.
      – Planting trees and vegetation to filter polluted air.
      – Implementing public awareness campaigns to educate people about the importance of healthy air quality.
