MPM stands for Modified Proctor Method, which is a method of measuring the amount of soil compaction in road construction. It is based on a combination of the standard Proctor Test and the Marshall Stability Test. The main purpose of the test is to measure the moisture content, density and strength of a compaction effort within a soil sample.
