      Population forecasting is used for calculating future populations.

      There are many methods of this, incremental increase method is one of them.

      The Incremental increase method is also a combination of the arithmetic increase and incremental increase method.

      http://\[P n=P+n \cdot X+\left(\frac{n(n+1)}{2}\right) \cdot Y\]

      where, Pn = population after the nth decade

      X = average increase

      Y = incremental increase
