Tacheometric Surveying is a rapid process for calculating the measurements or reading of the objects. It is a method in which the distance between instrument and staff stations is determined by the tacheometric only. It is an angular type of surveying.
The chaining process is not done in this process and fieldwork can be done in a very short time. Contour plans if the area is mainly done by this process.
